Mothers Day

No one is more important than mom in Mexican families. That’s why every May 10 is DÍa de las Madres. Moms receive their share of flowers and gifts on this big day, but it is also customary for families to serenade their matriarch with song in the morning, go to church for a special Mass, then come home and sit down to a meal – which just might include Santa Fe Pot Roast. Prepared by the kids, of course.
