Herdez™ Jalapeño Refried Bean Tacos with Pico De Gallo

Serves 8 Tacos



  1. Cook Herdez™ Jalapeño Refried Beans following package instructions  

  2. Pico De Gallo: Dice tomatoes, onion, jalapeños, cilantro and avocado. Transfer to a bowl. Squeeze lemon juice and add salt to taste. Marinate in fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.

  3. Warm tortilla shells in microwave for approximately 30 seconds. Add two tablespoons of refried beans to each tortilla and fold in half.

  4. In a large skillet over medium high heat, heat the oil. Fry 4-5 tacos at a time on both sides until crispy. Set on paper towel to cool a bit before serving.

  5. Top with Pico de Gallo and serve with sour cream.
