HERDEZ® Roasted Pasilla Pepper Chili

  • 1 pound

    ground beef

  • 1 (12 ounce) jar

    HERDEZ® Roasted Pasilla Chile Mexican Cooking Sauce

  • 2 (15.25 ounce) cans

    kidney beans (drained and rinsed)

  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can

    diced tomatoes, undrained

  • 1 cup

    frozen corn

  • 1 medium

    red bell pepper, diced

  • 1/2 medium

    sweet onion, diced

  • 1 clove

    garlic, minced

  • Shredded Cheddar cheese

  • Sour cream

  • Chopped fresh cilantro

Serves 6



  1. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat; drain. Put beef in slow cooker with remaining ingredients. Stir. Cook covered on low 8 to 10 hours.

  2. Garnish with cheese, sour cream, and/or cilantro.

  3. Cook's Note:
    For a thicker chili, drain diced tomatoes before adding to slow cooker.
