HERDEZ® Three Pepper Cheesy Stuffed Jalapeños

These spicy, cheesy, stuffed jalapeños are always a hit! Just spicy enough and so easy to make, they’re a staple in our home.

  • 1 (8 ounce) package

    cream cheese

  • 1 cup

    shredded Cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup

    shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup

    diced habanero Cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup

    HERDEZ® Red Guajillo Chile Mexican Cooking Sauce

  • 1 teaspoon

    garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon

    onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon

    ground cayenne

  • 10 large

    jalapeños - stemmed, halved lengthwise, and seeds and membranes removed

Serves 10



  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

  2. In large microwave-safe bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded Cheddar, mozzarella, habanero Cheddar cheese, cooking sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne. Cook for 2 minutes at 50% power. Stir. Continue to cook at 50% power in 1 minute intervals, stirring each time, until cheeses are fully melted, combined, and thick.

  3. Place jalapeño halves, cut sides up, in a medium baking dish. Fill each jalapeño half with cheese mixture.

  4. Cook for 25 minutes or until jalapeños have softened and cheese has started to brown.
