Tortitas de Pollo

These tortitas de pollo use salsa verde thanks to salsa verde ingredients like tomatillo in HERDEZ® Guacamole Salsa. They’re mini chicken pancakes with a crispy outside that are also great for snacking the next day.




  • 1 pound

    shredded chicken breast, fully cooked

  • 1/4 teaspoon


  • 4 large

    eggs, lightly beaten

  • 1/2 cup

    canola oil

  • 1/4 cup

    HERDEZ® Guacamole Salsa 

  • 1/4 cup

    heavy cream

  • 1/4 cup

    chicken broth

  1. In large bowl, combine shredded chicken, salt and eggs.

  2. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Spoon 3-4 ounces chicken mixture onto skillet and fry 2 minutes on each side. Set aside on paper towel lined plate.

  3. Add HERDEZ® Guacamole Salsa, cream and chicken broth to saucepan and bring to boil.

  4. Add chicken patties to sauce and cook at medium-low heat for 10 minutes and serve!
