Tricolor Baked Chicken Taquitos

Baked chicken taquitos are an easy appetizer/snack/dinner to prepare in a flash! Celebrate the holidays with these Tricolor Baked Chicken Taquitos using our favorite HERDEZ® salsas, the traditional flavor everybody loves.

  • 10

    corn tortillas

  • 2 cups

    shredded rotisserie chicken breast

  • 2 teaspoons

    olive oil

  • 1/4 cup

    HERDEZ® Salsa Casera

  • 1/4 cup

    HERDEZ® Salsa Verde

  • 1/4 cup

    low fat sour cream

  • 1/4 cup

    queso fresco

  • Side Salad: 

  • 2 cups


  • 1 sliced


  • 1 sliced


  • 1/4 cup

    minced cilantro

  • 1/4 cup

    purple onion

  • Dressing: 

  • Juice of one lemon and 1/8 teaspoon salt

Serves 5



  1. Heat oven to 425˚F.

  2. Place heaping tablespoon of chicken in center of each tortilla and roll up tightly.

  3. Lay tortillas seam side down on baking sheet.

  4. Brush with the olive oil and bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  5. Drizzle with HERDEZ®Salsa Casera, sour cream and HERDEZ® Salsa Verde. Sprinkle with queso fresco.

  6. Combine salad ingredients and and serve with taquitos.
